Since 1975, XL Fire Protection has specialized in the design, installation, repair, and testing of fire sprinkler systems.  As a full-service company, all facets of the business remain in-house.  This helps to provide customers with the quickest, most professional, and highest quality products and service on the market today.

As a fire sprinkler contractor, XL Fire Protection is responsible for the design, calculation, testing, repair, installation, and retrofit of fire sprinkler systems. Customers include a variety of types of facilities, such as hotels, hospitals, schools, warehouses, high-rise buildings, apartment buildings, shopping malls, and even custom homes. Projects are either part of new construction or are tenant improvements. Since the company is a full- service contractor, it targets large projects that require top quality service.

In 2008 we became an Employee Owned Company, further inspiring our leadership team to be the very best in the industry.

Brian Callahan

Brian has been in the fire protection industry for 36 years.  Brian received his Fire Protection Degree from Santa Ana College.  He holds a Water-Based Systems Layout Level 4 Certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET #111575.  He also holds a National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Certified Fire Protection Specialist Certification (CFPS #2515).

Rick LaBounty

Rick has been involved with the fire protection industry for 24 years.   Prior to his current position as Vice President, he spent 8 years in the U.S Navy, 13 years as a Sprinkler Fitter and 11 years in Senior Management roles.  He holds a Water-Based Systems Layout Level 2 Certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET #143792) and attended Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado.

CFO/VP of Operations

Tracey Ingalls

Tracey is a retired Government Analyst/CPA with expertise with government contracts, Public Works Capital Improvement Projects and Community Development Planning. Her accounting experience spans over 25 years. Tracey holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a master’s in Public Administration.
